1.) Steak Tartare: France
Steak Tartare is a popular raw beef recipe from France. This dish is made from finely chopped or ground raw beef or other meat. It is marinated in wine and then chilled. This French dish is usually served with capers, onions, seasonings like fresh ground pepper and Worcestershire sauce and can be topped with raw egg.
2.) Kilawin: Philippines
Kilawin or Kinilaw is raw tenderloin beef cubed (or other meat like pork, goat, lamb and fish) and seasoned in vinegar or kalamansi (lemon) juice and spiced with garlic, onion, ginger and chili peppers. It is also known as Kappukan in the Ilocano dialect. It is an Ilocano delicacy that became widely popular in the entire archipelago of the Philippines and in other parts of the world where Ilocanos and Filipinos in general live. Lebanese people have their own version also of raw beef recipe called Kibbeh Nayyeh. It is also called Raw Kibbeh or Kubba. This dish is consists of ground beef or lamb meat mixed with fine bulgur and spices and usually served with olive oil, mint leaves, green onions and green peppers.
